Tuition

Our monthly tuition includes full-time and year-round early care and education program services as well as catered meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks).

Meals

We serve nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks in accordance with the nutritional standards of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Our meals and snacks include food that is sourced locally, is hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and contains lean protein.

  • Foods are free of artificial preservatives, coloring, flavoring, and sweeteners, and do not contain high fructose corn syrup. Our meals are low in fat and sodium, and they include a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Every meal is made from scratch on a daily basis. Our goal is to serve foods that are culturally familiar to our children.

Chefables Catering is currently providing our daily meals. They provide a variety of menu options as well as allergy-friendly meals that are custom designed to meet the needs of each individual child.

Our menu rotates monthly and can also be customized based on the needs of each child. Daily meals are served in a family-style setting, and parents are encouraged to join in during meal times.

For our infants, we provide formula and organic baby food. Nursing mothers are welcome to come in as needed to breastfeed.

Scholarship Program

SOMACC is committed to equity, inclusion, and supporting socioeconomic diversity in our school and community. We provide a limited number of need-based scholarships to currently enrolled families to ensure that their children continue to have access to SOMACC's exceptional early care and education services.

  • The amount of tuition assistance awarded is determined by the family's financial situation as well as the availability of funds obtained through SOMACC's annual fund development activities.

Despite our commitment to providing tuition assistance to qualifying families, the number of applicants each year typically exceeds SOMACC's budgeted amount. As a result, we cannot guarantee that all qualified applicants will receive assistance.

All scholarship families are expected to maintain a high profile in the school and to serve as role models for other families in terms of leadership and involvement. Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) participation is strongly encouraged.
